The book is a sequel of “Nepoznatiiat Nikola Geshev“. The author expands the scope of the research on Slavcho Radomirski’s battle group, made known along Vulo Radev’s motion picture "Chernite angeli" (Black angels). Using a large number of police documents from before September 9th 1944 and memories of direct participants in the events, censored before the democratic change occurred, Andreia Iliev restored the history of those bloody days in which on behalf of sick-minded people, poor youngsters with a romantic vision for the future, killed prominent figures in Bulgaria’s social life. Special attention is given to the actions of Nichola Geshev and the police in the search of the mysterious assassins, who became a nightmare for Sofia for 3 months.

Boiko, Rosen, Tsetso, Liliana, Tsvetelina, Anio ... They ruled Bulgaria for four years (from 2009 to 2013 - note transl.) and dragged it down to the bottom. They were talking about morality, but they were covered in vice and corruption themselves. Work and live as a gang - people united by a criminal purpose. In this book, the political scientist Anton Todorov reveals their dirty secrets. In first person. With documents and facts. Objectively, without holding back anything. Their relationships with the establishment of the Communist Party and State Security, the bank cartel, the international gangsters, the shady part of society which we call “behind-the-curtains”. Racketeering, denunciations, smuggling, transfers of billions, draining the state reserve, ostentatious arrests, merging of the executive and the judicial power ... The gang GERB is the darkest fraud, known as “the Bulgarian transition”.

In this book are investigated several factors that more or less determine the behavior of the individual participants in the chaotic system of international relations. These factors are: geography, dynastic ties, religious affiliation and economic interests, or rather the constant influence of the geographical factor to the dynastic relations and economics, which appears as the leading factor in the middle XVII century. The conflicts of the last quarter of the XVI century wear mostly signs of religious conflicts until suddenly in the middle of the last /and biggest/ religious conflict – the Thirty Years War - this factor starts to wane, replaced by the "public interest" so nicely formulated by Cardinal Richelieu. After 1650 in the forefront appeared commercial rivalries, and most of the wars in the second half of the XVII century could be described as "mercantilist" after the dominant economic model.

The academician Vasil Giuzelev was born in 1936 in Rakovski village (now a quarter of Dimitrovgrad town on the Maritza River). He graduated History and Archaeology at the university "St. Kliment Okhridski” in Sofia. His native Alma Mater was the natural environment which allowed him to develop his career as a brilliant scholar and lecturer in the field of medieval history of Bulgaria and Europe (IV-XV century). He specialized in Byzantine and Medieval Studies, Greek and Latin paleography in various European universities in the U.S. He’s an author of 60 books and 500 papers and articles published locally and abroad. This five-volume issue about one of the patriarchs of the Bulgarian historical thought includes his early monograph "Kniaz Boris Purvi” (1969), his latest book "Srednovekovna poeziia ot i za bulgarite” (Medieval poetry from and for the Bulgarians) which is published here for the first time and some other studies typical for his work ("Apologiia na Srednovekovieto”, “Papstvoto i bulgarite prez Srednovekovieto”). The opening and the virtuosic interpretation of completely unknown sources and facts about the Bulgarian Middle Ages, the launch of new fundamental concepts for the development of the Balkans and Europe in the Middle Ages make academician Vasil Gyuzelev a global authority on medieval studies.

The protest from June until now, so far is not just a protest for the resignation of the government. In the context of the protest were given a number of important diagnoses of the current state of the Bulgarian society. "The Protest" has become the focus of a meaningful public battle between different social actors and groups. The fight "for" and "against" the Protest suggested the mobilization of discourses and other resources, of commitment and involvement, and of limiting the attempts to expand the public support for each party. The battle for "the protest" is a public battle about the following: what society do we want to live in? The book presents the main analysis, civil and political positions in Bulgaria in the period June - September 2013.

The new edition of the Boril obituary is dedicated to the upcoming 800th anniversary of the conduct of the council against the Bogomils (1211) when by the will of king Boril (1207-1218) the Obituary was created. The publishers not only reconstruct the text of this important literary monument by the Palauzov manuscript with additives and variant readings from the Drinovo transcript, but are looking to put it in its original liturgical and canonical-dogmatic context. So they included in the publication prayers and mortar of the Ecumenical Councils that accompany the Obituary in the Palauzov manuscript. The book begins with a brief theoretical part, which introduces the problematic in the Obituary in the light of the current state of research on the Bulgarian Obituary and its Byzantine prototype, and ends with a translation of the Obituary in Bulgarian and English. The authors of this publication are hoping that it will meet the needs not only of specialists medievalists and students of philology and history, but will also attract the attention of a wider audience that is interested in the Orthodox history and literature.

The way we die is a quintessence of the way we live. Is there a "socialism death" that corresponds to the "socialist way of life"? Of course, death is a universal biological fact, independent of ideologies, religions and political regimes. But it provoked an incredible variety of cultural events that are not only a measure for the importance of this very fact, but also shows how it is overgrown with conventions, norms, our ideas, rituals, symbols, which - unlike the biological fact - significantly change over time. How did the communist regime in Bulgaria "tame" death? What was the new holiness, what were the models imposed by an ideology of death? How should we think about the socialism death and how it fits into the great story of the progress? Who were the new characters? How was cared for, registered, controlled and manipulated the "small" non-heroic death? What happened after the marginalization of religion, which traditionally provided answers to existential questions? What were the evaluation practices, what were the imposed scenarios and how they were played out? Following these questions, the authors of the book think about the socialism death through ideologies and important "places of memory", which set ideality, and in "places" of care and control that require normality.

This new edition is supplemented with five new terrorist acts, one of which - the one in Sarafovo, is undoubtedly one of the largest in the Bulgarian history. The readers will find in this chapter previously unknown facts, showing that there are other terrorists besides the publicly reported ones, who blew up the bus. It can be claimed quite certainly that the suicide bomber did not trigger the explosion himself, that he was not a kamikaze. Moreover, complemented were many of the previous 50 terrorist acts from the first edition, because during those years were declassified files on the old National Security and the party archives of the Bulgarian Communist Party. Other reliable sources became available as well, from which information was obtained. Thanks to the Internet, now it is possible even to use photographic archives worldwide. The reader will find in this edition very interesting documentary photos, some of which are being published for the first time.

On March 14th 2012 were celebrated 175 years from birth of academician Marko Balabanov – the first minister of foreign affairs of Bulgaria, prime-minister, a layer, on of the founders of the Juridical Faculty in the High School, a teacher on Greek language, Roman, Byzantium and canonical law, an author of a number of books and articles. Sometimes the forgotten books has more truth than the textbooks and trivial press. The present book is one of them. It is an exciting document for time after April Uprising in the beginning of the Russo-Turkish War in 1877. Two Bulgarians who traveled trough Europe with request for help, for mercy, for salvation of the long-suffering Bulgarian people. They visited Austro-Hungary, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany and Russia; they met celebrities such as Lord Derby, Gladstone, Thiers, Leon Gambetta, Felix Kanitz, Gorchakov and by a wreath - with the Russian Tsar Alexander II. Without any exaggeration might be told that until now none of the Bulgarian politicians, diplomats or public figures were accepted and heard by so many great persons for such of short time and with such of regard.

In this book, the author draws attention to the Thracian migrations in Europe and Asia and provides explanations for the Thracian influence on the Celts, Indians, Romans, Greeks. The similarities in the languages of these peoples are not due to a common origin, a long coexistence in a community, and various hikes and achievements of the ancestors - the Thracians, the author says. The book reveals only the beginning of the fight against the inaccuracies in the official historiography. It presents short articles published in the personal blog of the author, the reactions of the first readers and their joy, disbelief and outrage in some cases. The disagreements on various issues can be traced. "You always accept anything new doubtfully. For this reason, many explanations are needed. This work, in any case, can’t shed light on any problem. It should be seen as a draft, one of the building blocks of a new argument.

Who wants to reduce the human freedoms only to the rights to breathe and to buy? Who demolished the towers on September 11th? Who caused the global economic crisis? These are questions identical to the one of who killed Kennedy! More importantly, however, who polished our brains and made them smooth as silk? It's good to protect nature, animals and basic human rights – admiration to that, but who will defend the truth, creative analytical thinking, family upbringing, education and culture? Because they are the barrier against modern idiocy. There's no way we want to live in a world in which being an obnoxious simpleton is cool. We are not masochists and we will never be! ... or am I wrong? (the author)

Simeon Radev (1879-1967) was born in Resen, in today’s Republic of Macedonia. He’s a Bulgarian historian, journalist, literary critic and journalist. During the period 1913-1940 he was a minister plenipotentiary in different countries. Known to the Bulgarian reader mostly with "Stroiteli na suvremenna Bulgariia” (“Builders of Modern Bulgaria”), where he wrote like a true master of the Bulgarian documentary prose. As a direct participant in the Balkan War Simeon Radev has witnessed the success of the Bulgarian warriors, of the joy of his liberated brothers from Macedonia and Thrace. Simeon Radev tells us of these events with his feather of an expert publicist in the book “Tova, koeto vidiakh ot Balkanskata Voina” ("What I saw of the Balkan war"). But the signed London peace treaty has no practical application because of the outbreak of the Second Balkan War (1913). As a direct witness and participant in the peace conference in Bucharest, in this book he tells us of how backroom games, unfair trades and the shortsightedness of the Bulgarian government brutally amputated his homeland.

This book enriches the thematic field of the Bulgarian science and considers in terms of theories of ethnicity and nationalism the modern and still ongoing processes of forming a national state in Montenegro. The study shows how the history in the Balkans is not only and not so much science, but an active creator of national ideology. For the first time the reader is presented with new ethnographic materials for national and ethnic minorities in Montenegro (Montenegrins, Serbs, Bosniaks, Muslims and Roma groups). The book can be placed among the authoritative and comprehensive studies about the former Yugoslavia.

This study consists of eleven separate thematically grouped articles, which represent a mainly unpublished numismatic material from private collections in Bulgaria, as in its description and comments are presented new arguments in support of activities in the recent years, regarding research on early Thracian coinage. Information is provided for the existence of four types of early Odryssian royal coins and a significant number of sub-classes of already known types of Odryssian royal coins; their additional symbols and inscriptions provide new information related to unrecorded events in the historical sources. Published are two unknown types of coins, along with presented arguments for the thesis that they were cut in the lands of the early Odrysian kingdom. Specifically considered is the countermarking of coins by the Odrysian ruler Hebrizelm. Published are new Thracian imitations of famous types of early Odryssian royal coins.

In this monograph are discussed recently published or submitted for publication five types of Thracian royal coins from the II century BC, and in the period from I century BC to the middle of the I century AD fifteen types of Thracian royal coins, in particular two new types of coins named Remetalk, three types of coins by Remetalk I Kotis’s son, six types of coins by Remetalk I Reskuporis’ brother, four types of coins by Remetalk I, converted through reworking of stamps or countermarked coins by Remetalk II, as well as findings from studies of new numismatic material. Here are presented and substantiated arguments that at the time of the protectorate of Mithridates VI in Thrace, leaders of the Scythians in the region of Scythia Minor and Thracian dynasts Mostid were declared rulers by Mithridates VI, who helped their significant royal coinage, as the study suggests reasons for dating of their known coin emissions.

Bad, sometimes disastrous state solutions are often a result from the health and sexual deviations and failures of the rulers. This book deals with the illness and the sexual preferences of dozens of international and Bulgarian leaders. Alexander of Macedonia, who knows why called “the Great” (he exterminated countless people, he was a drunk and bisexual); the Roman emperors - incestuous and mass murderers; the torturers and the satraps of the Russian people - their tsars Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great and the General Secretaries of CPSU (Lenin with his cerebral atherosclerosis and acquired syphilis) , and many others. High blood pressure, coronary heart disease, diabetes, Parkinson's, these are just some of the diseases that tormented the rulers in the past and today, and influence their decisions. The author presents overviews of world famous leaders but also to some from the most famous Bulgarian ones - Ivan Asen II, Ivan Aleksandur, Ferdinand, Boris Treti, Stefan Stambolov, Aleksandur Stamboliiski, Georgi Dimitrov, Vulko Chervenkov, Todor Zhivkov, Andrei Lukanov, Liudmila Zhivkova.

By the term "folk etymology" philologists generally mean spontaneous attempt of the speaker to make sense of a foreign unknown but sometimes rare or obsolete household word, by formally or contextually associating it with a more familiar one. In fact, the attempt to rationalize a vague term means this term to be reconsidered. The root cause of the seemingly ridiculous naivety lies in the endless curiosity and the desire of man to understand the meaning of the unknown. Therefore, it will hardly be an exaggeration if similar cases are used to support the fact that the etymology is the most popular area of linguistics. In this lexicon, among the naive word transformations, are given examples of failures in the scholar etymology, bordering the folk etymology. The main criterion in shaping the hull was the presence of phonetic, semantic, grammatical and/or formative rethinking of national or borrowed vocabulary in order for it to be rationalized, and thus incorporated, into the Bulgarian distinctive view of the world.

The dissertation paper is devoted to the Chronicles by the Byzantine historian Constantine Manasses. The author, docent Vasia Velinova, is a teacher on Old-Bulgarian literature, and currently a head of the Center of Slav-Byzantium studies “Ivan Diuchev”. She is an author of more than 50 publications in the scholar periodicals, in encyclopedias and dictionaries. The present work is a product of a long-lasting researches and analyses. The importance of this subject is undisputable – the translation of the Chronicles takes in important place in the history of the Bulgarian manuscripts; there is a need of comprehensive analysis of the translation; there is a lack of comparatively studying of the writings in the collections which accompany the translation. Although the Chronicle is already published and that there is a lot of literature in the subject, there is no detailed study until now by Bulgarian author on the issues pointed above.

The issue of the Edict of Tolerance (April 311) and the subsequent 342-343 Ecumenical Council of Serdica are the brightest events of global impact in the history of the Bulgarian capital - Sofia. If the interest towards the Edict has been and continues to be sporadic and largely a subject only to specialists, the Council has been commented continuously for 1670 years by scientists in various fields and laity with diverse interests and motives. Although the book is dedicated to one of the largest, and subsequently, the most discussed at church events in the life of the early Church, here, during and after the Council of Serdica in most cases give way to their broad cultural and historical analysis. The book presents the event as the Council of Serdica. What defines its historical value? It can most clearly be seen by examining the pros and cons of all the mentioned, and many other, issues.

This is the eleventh of twelve volume series in which will be published the prologue texts of the Turnovo edition of "The Prologue in Verse". It is based on the oldest precisely dated Bulgarian manuscripts from the middle of the 14th century. The texts are compared with the earliest Serbian and Russian copies of "The Prologue in Verse". The prologue verses are translated in contemporary Bulgarian language. The lexical index just for July contains 5671 lexical forms with 13,286 variants of use of these forms. This reveals the unknown richness of the Bulgarian literary language during the middle Bulgarian period of its development. The series is intended for medievists, clerics, students, teachers and who are interested in Old Bulgarian Literature.

“Panteon”, third volume, is an expression of the Bulgarians' reverence for the selfless work of the world intellectual elite of the era. The halo around the names of these princes of the spiritual culture of different nationalities is the glow of our deep appreciation. With this we are fulfilling our mission - embedding their names in the Pantheon of Bulgarian cultural history. Friends of Bulgaria - they were the conscience of the civilized world, a protest against slavery, against injustice, against the bloodshed, against the religious tyranny. Their support was a voice in defense of the free life, religious freedom, free will. A strong thread permanently connects the fate of the Bulgarian country with these champions of truth. In their works they emphasize the great feat of Kiril and Metodii - the introduction of the Slavonic Alphabet, highlighting the activities of generations of artists of the Word - paved the way of the Slav peoples towards the world of civilized nations. The word, which with magic force enlightened the knowledge and revealed the historical, spiritual and pure human truths.

This monograph examines the system of mythological images and concepts as an integral part of the Bulgarian folk culture, worldview, psyche and identity. It was written based on a rich source of information from all of the Bulgarian ethnic territory. In order to reveal the genesis, the primary function and the semantic content of the beliefs preserved in the folk memory to the end of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth century, parallels are made with the similar phenomena from the mythologies of other nations. The typological proximity with mythological themes, inherent in the different ethnic communities, allows to be revealed some general patterns in the development of the people’s culture and consciousness. On the other hand, the Bulgarian mythological characters were considered to be the result of evolutionary development and transformation, a synthesis of mythological phenomena, typical for the ethnic components of the Bulgarian nationality. It is shown that the ethnical specific is created as a result of the specific conditions under which it the Bulgarian people were developed from the peculiar interplay of beliefs and ideas of the Thracians, Slavs and Bulgars, the cultural influence of the nations with which the Bulgarians had close contact.

As a result of the archaeological excavations resumed in 2011, the Western Gate site of Serdica gained great public and academic popularity and occupied its rightful place on the archaeological map of modern Sofia. The archaeological excavations carried out in the period 1974-1980 brought to light the western gate of the city, the northern pentagonal gate tower attached to it, parts of the curtain wall and a triangular tower. Layers dated back to the Early and Late Medieval periods were excavated. Late Roman layers (the 4th - the 6th century) were reached at various parts of the site. The new discoveries confirmed some of the observations made in the past, specified others and contested part of the hypotheses on the life in Serdica in the Roman, Early Byzantine and Medieval periods. The large scale archaeological excavations carried out in Sofia in the recent years shed light on aspects of the early history of Serdica unknown until present.

The presented study "Kotlenski Sbornik”, 1805 (contribution to the study of the Kotel literary center), consisting of two parts - Language study and Text study, is essential to highlight the Bulgarian language history since its findings not only support, but also prove launched the recent idea of the existence of a separate Kotel literary center in the XVIII century. So along the famous centers of this kind, connected with the names of the Rila Monastery, Sofia, Etropole , Karlovo, Adzhar and others, The Kotel center takes its rightful place, which has its own spelling and paleographic norms and traits as well as a large number of writers. As noted in this work, "the importance of this new center is not only that it is the successor of the hand writing of the XVIII century, but it creates a bridge towards the writing of the XIX century. In short, it is a unifying link between the Bulgarian cultural pre-Revival period of the XVII and XVIII century and the Bulgarian Revival of XIX century." The choise of the Kotel collection of 1805 as a main theme is not accidental. Linguistically it is central to the writings of this circle. It reflects the features of the vernacular, and the specific dialect features of the Kotel speech.

This book is a collection of my articles, essays, letters, written between 2008 - 2013 (with some amendments made now, some are redundant), i.e. from the release of my major work "Shifurut na Diian” until now. Some of them have been ripening for years in my head, but were recorded only in April, May and June - this year. Originally I thought to publish them in a newspaper or a magazine, but this has proved to be a difficult task, so I decided to gather them into a book. As the Bulgarian saying goes "all evil is for good." In these summaries, I actually use the capabilities of my comparative theory to compare words of different languages and dialects, modern and old, and I come to the primary sense of modern words. My view is that in the basis of etymology stands comparison. Most etymologies that I do are original and cannot be found anywhere else. The scientific content is determined by the purpose and the terminals of the writing, and not by the use of a foreign term. If we write a Bulgarian folk tale in Latin, it would not be scientific work, but it would be incomprehensible to the people who created it. I do not pretend that all conclusions that I did are one hundred percent true, but I think the principles of my theory give more chance to reach the meaning implicit in the word when it was created... /The author/

This book is about the subject of the difficulties in learning a foreign language. An essential component in the educational policies of the international education is the presentation of cultural differences that are at the heart of many misunderstandings in communicating with representatives of different nationalities. Language as an element of culture is its communicative and cognitive tool, and speech communications have their own identity, formed by culturological and historical context. Thus the result of the correlation language: culture is reflected in the produced text. The main prerequisite for the proper translation of the native language and vice versa is overcoming not only language barriers but also develops sensitivity to the specifics of the foreign culture. Therefore, one of the priorities for foreign language learning is not the mechanical presentation of cultural realities, but the reporting of their impact in the context of the cultural differences.

This book is the first ever comprehensive study of complex theological terminology in the Old Bulgarian literature on materials from the theology of St. John of Damascus , translated by John Exarch - one of the most important monuments of Old Bulgarian translations. The analysis and conclusions help to clarify the significant and previously unexamined issues concerning the development of terminological layer of vocabulary in the Old Bulgarian literary language. The dictionaries and indices made by the author are unique in the hitherto Paleo-Slavic lexicographical tradition. They represent a small encyclopedia of the Dogma of John of Damascus, built on a selection of the chapters of John the Exarch, and according to the Old Bulgarian translation of the exact statement of the Orthodox faith. Each with a specific purpose and concept, the individual guides complement each other and provide insight to the material on all essential parameters that must provide theological terminology. Their complex nature allows them to be used for a number of private and comparative studies from different specialists.

The book is a collection of humorous science fiction novels and short stories with a common theme - a first-hand contact with an alien civilization, but referred to in terms of their worldview, and for this purpose - wanting to make the ever more sad reader laugh more – I put aliens in delicate situations and closely observed how they try to get out of them. The main idea which I’m trying to push forward, and the main thesis which I try to defend, is dedicated to the recent high-profile hypothesis of Paleocontact – contact in ancient times. It could be characterized with the following sentences: With all due respect to Mr. Darwin and his evolution of species I am inclined to believe that science, despite its gigantic boom in the last few centuries, is not able to give a concrete answer to question of the origin of mankind. The facts that archeology presents to us make me conclude, that the ability to adapt is not critical to our progress. The parables of the Old Testament are far more convincing in this regard and were close to a possible solution of the problem, as strange as it may sound... (The author)

Boris and Kristina’s four-year old daughter suffered a serious injury in while playing. She needed a complex surgery. The cost, however, was too high. Pressed by the urgency Boris chose the worst option. To pay for the surgery, he decided to trade his own life! Eloquently, this wonderful novel reveals that a person is experiencing and ending their journey in darkness and deception, when they have lost their relationship with God. At the same time, it implies that holiness is part of the modern world - it lives "today" and "now" and is rediscovered within anyone, who loves their neighbor and is willing to endure the life’s torment to the end.

This book features thorough literary observations, conscientiously study and à systematization of the large number of published texts related in one way or another with the stories of the writer. Due to the closed-end type reading, many of the qualities of the researcher manifest, the main of which is the skillful handling of the text and the masterful decorating of the signs of the rhythmic structure. The analysis and the interpretation really achieve the integrity which literary scholarly has always strived for. Until now, the monograph is probably the most serious attempt for interiorising the text of Konstantin Konstantinov regarding the Bulgarian literature. The book of Mira Dushkova is the first comprehensive and in-depth research on the stories of Konstantin Konstantinov. The text of Dushkova is well structured, a sign of its well-thought composition is that the individual chapters are in constant dialogue with each other. The study is distinguished by its clearly displayed themes, with its readability and stylistics. The author has the right sense of detail, which in most cases, goes to make her generalizations about Konstantinov’s poetics.

This book of mine is called "Bulgarskiiat Um" (Bulgarian Mind), because Ivan Khadzhiiski fully embodies the essence and peculiarities of the Bulgarian mind and way of thinking. It is not a book about his life and work. The works of the great thinker are only a starting point to reflect on all that we can identify as a Bulgarian world. I try to think along Ivan Khadzhiiski about the Bulgarian people, the reasons for his destiny and the direction of his historical development. Ivan Khadzhiiski himself taught us that people are a living organism that changes, acquires new qualities, losing old ones, adheres to its earlier traditions, but also creates new ones. All this is happening organically, so you should always take into account the historical moment in which we observe one or another manifestation of his character. That’s why I do a genre clarification of the content of the book - "Variations on themes of his work." /The author/

This book is a kind of a chronological continuation of two previous books by Plamen Doinov – the two-volume monograph "Bulgarskata poeziia v kraia na XX vek” (2007) and literary - critical collection "Literatura v mezhduvekovieto. Pogled kum bulgarskata literatura. 2000-2003" (2004). This book seeks to outline the literary field at the beginning of the new century, to identify and define the various trends in the fictional and non-fictional writing, to put the literary works and events in a dynamic socio-cultural context. This yields a critical chronicle of the literature of the early twenty-first century, the mapping problem and the literary field that exists in constant tension with the politics and the market, the history and the willingness to innovate. Here, the century which has just begun appears somewhat shaken in its infancy in an unstable regime of "normalization" in which the crisis of ideas in the literature can be contained only by a more patient, more honest literary-historical speaking and writing that is happening in the present.

The book introduces a concept of a psychological nature. It binds together a format of the experience - a situation and the evolution of the psyche. The idea that the mind is a differentiation of the biovirtuality, which is set in the genome and the protoplasm of the living things. The development of this property in the evolutionary context creates a universal structure of the psyche - the main psycho-evolutionary gain. It justifies how the universal structure of the psyche is transformed into a set of psychological functions and structures specific to the human species. Described are the features of the most dynamic part of the psyche - the situation. It is defined as a "workspace" in which diverse influences converge and decide on action. This book is designed for students who study general psychology at a university level, and for all interested in the universal concerns of psychology.

This is second supplemented edition of the book. To the first edition of this little book has been added a new lecture examining the contemporary global problems of our planet. The topics of the three lectures seem at first glance that they are not directly connected, but this impression is deceptive since we live on an ever-changing world of intense internal dynamics, active atmosphere and biosphere, and a huge impact of the humanity on the main systems of the Earth. Any significant changes in the Earth's dynamics are affecting the living organisms in varying degrees - the wonderful world of animals and plants. The three topics cover vital issues for the future of humanity. They are very complex and are essentially global in scale. On one hand, the complex structure and the active dynamics of the Earth present a challenge to humanity. On the other hand, the acceleration of evolution is a global reality against which no one can go against. The evolution of the inorganic nature, the organic world and the society are consistent and often interconnected stages of the overall evolution of the world around us.

This book-album is a deluxe edition, richly illustrated with color pictures of the various signs. The study is the first of such huge scale in the Bulgarian literature, as the topic has been carried out in studies and publications only for specific types of Bulgarian characters. The author, regardless of the unprecedented volume of studied signs, makes the proviso that it does not claim to be an all-inclusive and complete representation of the signs in Bulgaria. Here is also adopted a new approach to the research and the presentation of the signs in comparison to the Orders and Medals. In this first volume the chronological approach has been replaced by a themed one, and three separate chapters are considered in turn: military signs, signs for historical dates, events, people and monuments, and signs of honorary titles. The scope of the study includes the period from 1878 to 2011.

It is an exciting tangle of fiction and historical truths that outline the cycle of the human race and the flow of the world. In the familiar style of a master storyteller Liudmila Filipova uses true historical and scientific facts here, to lead us through the paths of history along with its main character - The Boy. The Boy travels onboard a spaceship, relegated to the depths of space through a black hole. The crew is small and looks resigned to their fate – they only have a few more weeks to live unless they find a planet on which to land. The end of the story will surprise and excite you - and even though it is unexpected, it is strikingly ... possible. It may truly happen, it may be your future.

This Bulgarian-French dictionary is the result of the nearly five-year work of five members of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Okhridski". It is based on an original concept, encompassing elements of a comparative study of the linguistic style of both the Bulgarian and French languages, and the Bulgarian phonetic transcription of the catchwords, which reflects the pronouncing norm of the Bulgarian language, is a necessary complement not just for the French users. The glossary covers 70,000 catchwords representing a major fund of the modern Bulgarian literary language, as well as colloquial vocabulary, Turkish words and dialect phrases, specialized terms from the fields of humanities, science, engineering, law, economics, medicine, biology, art, politics and sports. There is also a large number new words and meanings which entered the language in the last twenty years. The dictionary is necessary for the in-depth learners of the French language - of language-specialized high schools and students novelists – for teachers, translators and all those interested in the problems of lexicography.

The main principle in a spiritual school is that there is one understanding of God, which should serve as a criterion. The first manifestation of God, which we know, is love. God is Love. The entire world is an incarnation of Love, and it has derived from Love. That is why the first impulse of man should be the perception of Love.

A luxurious photo album, a title in a gold foil, a paralel text in 4 languages - Bulgarian, English, Russian and German, an entirely original photography. The publishing team shares their vision of Bulgaria, as they capture the country in a collection of unique photographs. They do not cover her beauty, do not have the magical power to look everywhere, to seal every beautiful place, every moment of history, every whim of time and nature. But they show Bulgaria. The country, which we like to see when we wake up at dawn so that we don’t miss the best light for shooting pictures, as we will not get tired of showing it to anyone who wants to see it as well, as long as they allow their perceptions to open up and their impressions to flourish.
